Britt Gomez, lead therapist at Sacred Alchemy Massage, has been a massage therapist since 2013, with her own private practice in the United States. She uses integrative therapeutic massage techniques to provide clients with bespoke treatments for their individual recovery needs. She received a degree in Massage Therapy from the Cortiva Institute in St Petersburg, Florida where she learned many therapeutic modalities and furthered her education and practice with continued education in various massage modalities over the years. She  moved to Wales in 2019 and she is excited to now use her acquired skills to help her clients achieve their wellness goals through therapeutic massage treatments here in South Wales. She  believe in full body wellness and the connection between the body and mind and that touch is integral to better personal health. That may be through treating specific issues your body is dealing with, working on a long term plan for your wellness or allowing you a safe, comfortable place to let go and relax. She is passionate about therapeutic massage and has extensively focused on the studies of Neuromuscular Therapy and Myofascial Release and uses them often as a treatment method, combined with other therapeutic modalities because they have scientifically proven to be incredibly helpful in relieving pain and promoting faster, better recovery from injuries.

Touch is a basic human need. Various studies have been done that suggest that massage calms our cardiovascular system by activating the vagus nerve, triggering release of oxytocin. It also increases endorphins such as dopamine and serotonin while lowering the cortisol levels in our bodies. These concepts are the foundation of Sacred Alchemy's massage practice. Combined with your specific needs, we tailor a plan in which to move forward towards a better, healthier lifestyle and body. We pride ourselves in being an inclusionary, LBGTQ+ friendly company and strive to provide a safe and comfortable space for your massage needs.
